Mats Hummels has admitted that Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain may have been his last Champions League home game for Borussia Dortmund.

With Mats Hummels’ contract set to expire in the summer, it’s unclear whether the 35-year-old will sign a contract extension with Borussia Dortmund or leave the club.

Following Dortmund’s 1-0 Champions League semifinal win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, the veteran centre-back opened up a bit about his future.

Asked if this was his last Champions League game at Signal Iduna Park, Hummels told DAZN:

“Maybe. Nothing has been decided yet. I’ve been thinking about what’s next for me. It won’t be decided until … phew … when the last game of the season is over. But maybe even after that.

“Things can go in any direction. I’m just enjoying the fact that I can keep it open. Of course, I’m also looking to see what opportunities there are – including here.

“The Champions League with BVB is secured for next season, that’s also a big aspect. I just have to see what the options are and what I want to do.”
